Mountain Sky

I worked on this project at Mountain Sky Guest Ranch while working at Place Architecture. This was a very simple program, housing a secondary conference room, winter caretaker's quarters, and shared kitchen and bathroom facilities for employees. The structure was a simple pole barn with attic trusses over the West end to give a second story for bedrooms and living space. The exterior is a lap siding, and log accents frame industrial steel sash windows. Using this kind of construction, the finished construction cost came to about $52 per square foot.
